Eligibility for the CDCP
To qualify for the CDCP, applicants must meet specific criteria:
- No Existing Dental Insurance: The program is designed for individuals who do not currently have any form of dental insurance.
- Income Requirements: Eligible families must have a net income under $90,000 per year.
- Canadian Residency: Applicants must be residents of Canada for tax purposes.
- Tax Filing: The most recent tax return must have been filed.

Application Process for the CDCP

- Receive an Invitation: The government will send out invitations in phases, beginning with senior citizens. The invitation will include a unique application code.
- Confirm Eligibility: Use the application code to confirm your eligibility through a phone application or online portal.
- Update Information: Ensure your contact details are up-to-date with the Canada Revenue Agency to receive your invitation without delay.
Phased Rollout of the CDCP
The CDCP will be implemented in stages according to the following schedule:
- Seniors Aged 87 and Older: Started in December 2023
- Seniors Aged 77 to 86: Started in January 2024
- Seniors Aged 72 to 76: Started in January 2024
- Seniors Aged 70 to 71: Started in March 2024
- Seniors Aged 65 to 69: Started in May 2024
- Adults with Valid Disability Tax Credit: Started in June 2024
- Children Under 18: Started in June 2024
- All Other Eligible Residents: Starting January 2025

I actually look forward going to this particular dental place. Not so much to get a tooth pulled etc but because there a really well organized group of people. Plus very considerate of their clients and super friendly. Place is clean and tidy. No teeth laying on the floor from the client before you. The head puller himself is very good at what he does which during the recovery period really pays off. Give them a try and I’m sure you will like it. 👍 Had another tooth fixed yesterday. June 9/22. Feels great and no pain. Almost better than the original. Their the best!!!!!😁
